Ronald Lewis House Float in the 7th Ward, 2020. Ronald Lewis (1951-2020) died of Coronavirus. He was the first resident to move back to the Lower 9th Ward after Hurricane Katrina and with the help of volunteers, built The House of Dance and Feathers in his backyard, which preserved performance traditions and street culture of the city. The colorful museum is named after the book he authored about Black culture in 2009.
